Patterson High School clinched an outright District 9-3A title Thursday with a 41-6 victory against Franklin High School in Franklin. The Lumberjacks concluded the regular season with a 7-3 mark, including a 4-0 record in district. Patterson now will await their postseason seeding and opponent. Patterson and Berwick high school volleyball teams were in action Tuesday when they hosted Franklin and Assumption, respectively. The Lumberjills defeated Franklin, while Berwick fell in four games to Assumption, ranked No. 1 in the latest Division II power rankings released by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.
