Erath routs 'Jacks, 10-0

Patterson fell to Erath, 10-0, in five innings in baseball action at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field Thursday.
Erath scored four runs in the first and five in the second for a 9-0 lead.
The score remained the same until the Bobcats pushed across another run in the bottom of the fifth, ending the game via the mercy rule.
Patterson was limited to two hits in the loss. Jamey Fabre finished 1-for-1, while Blake Dreyer was 1-for-2.
Tyrik Singleton suffered the loss. In one inning, he surrendered five runs — three earned — on four hits with three hit batters.
Patterson (10-14 overall, 1-7 in district) will return to action Saturday when it travels to take on North Vermilion in an 11 a.m. contest.
