Lady Panther Classic begins Friday

Berwick High School’s annual Lady Panther Classic will begin Friday and continue Saturday.
Games in the seven-team tournament will be played at Berwick High School as well as two fields nearby at the Berwick Civic Complex.
In addition to host Berwick, other participants include Vandebilt Catholic, Morgan City, Kaplan, E.D. White, Cecilia and Assumption.
Friday’s local action at Berwick High includes Berwick facing Vandebilt Catholic at 3 p.m.
Local action Friday at the Berwick Civic Complex includes Morgan City facing Kaplan at 3 p.m. on Field 4 and Central Catholic meeting Assumption on Field 5 at 3 p.m.
On Saturday, area action at Berwick High School includes Morgan City and Central Catholic meeting at 9 a.m., followed by Berwick and Morgan City at 11:30 a.m. and Berwick and Cecilia at 1:45 p.m.
The lone local game at the Berwick Civic Complex is a 1:45 p.m. contest between Central Catholic and E.D. White on Field 5.
