DEAR ABBY: I’m writing regarding the letter from “She’s Killing Them in Indiana” (July 8) and your response to the writer, whose friend is HIV-positive and doesn’t tell her partners her diagnosis.
LONDON — The World Health Organization has revised its HIV guidelines to recommend that anyone who tests positive for the virus that causes AIDS should be treated immediately.
DEAR ABBY: I moved away from my hometown 18 years ago. At the time, a friend of mine had found out she was HIV-positive. Thankfully, health-wise she’s doing well.
