The college portion of the 2017 McNeese Indoor I meet was a successful one for the Cowboys and Cowgirls Friday afternoon as the teams combined for 14 first-place finishes.
Berwick’s Kennedy Sampey competes in the pole vault during Saturday’s Class 3A state track and field meet at LSU’s Bernie Moore Track Stadium. Sampey set a school record with a leap of 11 feet.
