Girls Scouts work with garden club to earn badge

Girl Scout Troop 20689 recently worked with members of the Bayou Vista Garden Club to earn the National Garden Club Native Plants Patch. The girls learned about Louisiana native and invasive plants. They helped plant native Louisiana irises at the Bayou Vista Community Center gazebo.
