‘Postmark Bayou Chene’ debuts

Author Gwen Roland of Atchafalaya Houseboat fame, was a guest of the St. Mary Parish Library in Franklin Wednesday. Roland is promoting her new book, the novel Postmark Bayou Chene. She spoke of the inspirations for the novel set in the historic Bayou Chene community of the Atchafalaya Basin, where many local residents claim ancestry.
