5,000 eggs hidden for FFH Easter hunt

Franklin Foundation Hospital hosted its first Easter egg hunt for pre-K and kindergarten classes from across western St. Mary Parish Tuesday.
The employees of FFH donated more than 5,000 eggs that were hidden for hunts at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
More than 430 students attended from W.P. Foster Elementary, J.A. Hernandez Elementary, LaGrange Elementary, Centerville School, Glencoe Charter School, Raintree Elementary and Peter Pan Head Start.
Each child had the opportunity to hunt for eggs and receive a snack bag. Each class was able to have their pictures taken with the FFH Easter Bunny and Chicken
“The weather was great, we had over 650 visitors at the hospital to participate in our event,” said Dawn Kaiser, FFH Business Development and Marketing Coordinator. “The FFH Lagniappe Committee planned and executed a safe and fun event for the children who attended,”
Kaiser said the FFH staff, FFH staff’s family volunteers, FFH Ladies Auxiliary, parents and family members of the students attending, the Crossing Place Church and the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office supported the event.
“We hope everyone has a great and safe Easter Holiday,” Rose Aucoin, FFH Lagniappe Committee member said. “It was so exciting to see the children enjoying themselves and know that we were able to provide that fun for them.”
