Achievement awards

The Broussard-Harris Committee hosted its 11th Annual Black Achievement Award Banquet Saturday, March 14 at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center. Among the 18 honorees were Clara B. Brown, above with family, and Billie Mae and Leroy Phillips. Accepting the award on behalf of the Phillipses were committee member Louise Williams and Evangelist James Kelly, below. The theme of the evening was “Dream with a Vision, Live with a Purpose.”
