CAA sets annual meeting May 15

St. Mary Community Action Agency Inc. will hold its 48th Annual Membership Committee Meeting May 15.
The event will be held at the Pavilion at Cypress Bayou Casino and Hotel in Charenton from 6- 9 p.m.
This year CAA is honoring Head Start dads and father figures who involve themselves at their children’s respective centers.
The theme this year, “Come Fly with Me,” recognizes the goals, and higher levels of success and excellence the agency continues to strive for.
For nearly 50 years, St. Mary CAA has served St. Mary and Vermilion parishes including low-income children, the elderly and families. The agency currently employs 250 employees and provides 6,208 services in many program areas including: housing, economic development and child care, transportation, family services and youth development. Sponsorships for table reservations, which cost $350 per table, are still available.
