Day of Prayer for law enforcement

Gov. Bobby Jindal declared Monday a statewide day of prayer for law enforcement and the City of Franklin observed the commemoration at noon. Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies attended the ceremony on the lawn of city hall. Jindal declared the day of prayer in response to multiple slayings of police across the country.
