Last weekend’s fifth Brittany’s Project Car Show and Fundraiser included, above, a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a center for individuals with disabilities to enjoy life through recreation, social events and support. Below, among the many highlights of the event was the cars and contests among owners. Brittany’s Project currently offers educational seminars on Medicaid, waivers, guardianship, wills and more as well as sponsoring a summer camp for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities each July. In addition, Brittany’s Project hosts an activity each month which can include a dance, Valentines party, prom, swimming, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas party, movie night and more for its patrons to enjoy social interaction with their peers.
