Fire fighters for the day

The Chitimacha Fire Department visited with toddlers and Head Start children at the West End Library Branch in Baldwin to help promote home and personal safety during National Fire Prevention Month in October. Fire Chief Billy Mora, Capt. Kenneth Perry and Firefighter Katie Bouton let the children tour the interior of the fire engines, taught the children about safety procedures and gave each child their own fire hat.
