Franklin lighting contest is Dec. 9

City residents are invited to participate in the Franklin Garden Club’s lighting and decorating contest December 9.
Sponsored by the City of Franklin and the club, residents can participate simply by having Christmas lights on by 6 p.m. for the judging. No registration is necessary.
Judging will be on general outdoor lighting, and businesses will be judged on display windows.
There will be four sections of the city, each receiving first and second place awards.
