Great American Cleanup Day sponsored by Cabot

Keep America Beautiful recently launched the Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program.
In recognition of this event, the local parish chapter Keep St. Mary Beautiful and Franklin Foundation Hospital organized a monthly cleanup day in the City of Franklin. Local affiliates and partnering organizations, volunteers and corporate sponsors play a key role in the success of the Great American Cleanup.
As the 2016 Great American Cleanup Day corporate sponsor and in conjunction with Earth Day, Cabot Corporation employees cruised along Franklin’s Main Street and Teche Drive picking up litter along the historic route.
This was the eighth year Cabot employees have participated in the Keep St. Mary Beautiful campaign. Mayor Raymond Harris of the City of Franklin, Mr. Paul Naquin, St. Mary Parish Council Member, and Keep St. Mary Beautiful committee members also joined Cabot employees in the cleanup.
