Harvest Moon Festival 2015

Kay Texada, right in green apron, helps a customer outside her store in downtown Franklin during the 17th annual Harvest Moon festival on Sunday. The event featured a wide array of entertainment including a car show, food and other refreshments, live music and games for the kids. Car show winners were: Club Participation: Drake Daigle and Jason King of BIA Car Club; Longest Distance: Joyce and Ellis Martin of Plaquemines; Best Engine: Tommy Landry, 1929 Model A Rat Rod; and Best in Show: Gene Poirier, 2004 Chevy SSR.
