Holy Cross food drive
Each month throughout the school year, students at Holy Cross Elementary School are engaged in service projects in response to Jesus’ command, “Feed My Lambs.” Each grade has chosen an outreach project that will benefit our community or other worthy organizations. During the month of November, the Pre-K3 class and its teachers sponsored a food drive for the needy families in our area. The items – sugar, flour, canned goods, boxed foods, and personal hygiene items – have been collected throughout the school to aid Holy Cross Parish’s Thanksgiving baskets for the needy. The items collected ensure that the church will be ready to respond to those in need during the upcoming holidays. Pictured with the many bags of items collected are Pre-K3 students Kohen Fabre, Evangeline Callais, Piers Picou, Lexi Breaux and Leilana Passi with Pre-K3 teacher Lauren Boudreaux.
