Holy Cross science fair winners

The regional social studies fair was held Jan. 19 at Nicholls State. All projects presented by students from Holy Cross Elementary School placed in their divisions. Pictured are sixth-grader Sophie Webster, who placed second in Sociology with her project, “Adoption";  sixth-grade student Isabella Duval placed second in Political Science with her project, “Common Core State Standards: How Do They Affect You?”; siblings Franco and Sofia Saleme, fourth and sixth grade, placed third in Sociology with “The St. Joseph Altar: More Than A Feast ... A Tradition"; Charlotte Callais and Rhett Thomas, sixth-graders, placed third in Economics with “Oil Prices: Impact on the Economy"; sixth-grade student Bryson Roy also placed third with his project, “The Southern Pacific: 4449 on the Railroad," in the History division.
