Honors for educators

M.D. Shannon Elementary School Educator’s Awards recently were given to two educators for their dedication and advocacy for students of the St. Mary Parish School System during the school’s Black History Assembly. This year’s recipients were Patsy Powell and Duane Cremaldi, both educators at M.D. Shannon Elementary.
