Last Island

Who really owns Last Island? Local resident Jeanette Voisin will explain the 165-year-long battle over the island. A book on the subject, “Last Island Stole” had been written by author Bill Dixon but was not published before his death. Voisin was able to publish it posthumously on Dixon’s behalf. St. Mary Landmarks Society will host a book signing and lecture at Grevemberg House Museum, Thursday, Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m. Books will be available for purchase for $15. Wine and cheese will be offered.
