Levee board to meet Thursday

The St. Mary Levee District commission will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Port of Morgan City.
New business on the agenda includes discussion and any action on the funding of the Insurance Coalition of the Association of Levee Boards of Louisiana and naming of a representative for the board, discussion and any action on 2013 Audit Report, discussion and any action on cooperative endeavor agreement with Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District, discussion and any action on adoption of Deferred Compensation Plan, discussion and any action on recommendation of Option 2 on the Morgan City Levee Improvement Plan, and adopting the 2014 millage rate.
