Morgan City council to meet Tuesday

The City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the City Court Building.
The agenda includes Lakeside sidewalk and garbage truck discussions. Also on the agenda are resolutions for the election of a mayor pro-tem, a bid tabulation for the upgrade of the city’s headworks, authorization of a signature for St. Martin Parish Water contract, engagement of auditors, and a systems survey and compliance questionnaire.
The council will go through the first reading of ordinances for gas tap fees, sewer tap fees and electric utility reliability upgrade. An ordinance for Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District Permit Fees will go through the second reading, public hearing and adoption phases.
Guests on the agenda are Clay Leonard with Iron Horse Triathlon and Aimee Monnin discussing the Vicious Dog Ordinance. Condemnation of 215 Arizona St. will also go before the council.
