Morgan City High track closed for repairs

The Tiger Stadium track is closed this week for repairs, Morgan City High Principal Mickey Fabre said.
The track is resurfaced every several years. The company chose this week to work because the weather is expected to be nice, allowing them to complete the project in one week, Fabre said.
Workers will return in a few weeks, after the track has cured, to add striping. It will be ready for the upcoming track season, the principal said.
