Old Atchafalaya River bridge closed this morning

The Old Atchafalaya Bridge, La. 182, will be closed to traffic to allow crews to perform a routine bridge inspection, the Louisiana Department of Transportation announced Thursday.
The closure is estimated to take place from 8 .m. until noon, weather permitting. Traffic will be rerouted to the U.S. 90 Bridge.
