Patterson airport runway nearly done

Harry P. Williams Memorial Airport’s resurfaced runway and taxiway, along with the instrument landing system and airport lighting systems, were re-opened and re-activated last Saturday. The Patterson facility’s runway/taxiway renovation work is about 95 percent complete, with taxiway centerline striping, taxiway/runway entrance/exit striping, and ILS taxiway hold lines remaining to be painted. That work should be accomplished after Thanksgiving, according to Ken Perry, owner and president of Perry Flying Center.
