Police Reports 3-23-16
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Carrie Hubler, 27, of 309½ Leona St., Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 5:27 p.m. and charged with theft of goods. Hubler was released on a summons to appear in court.
Peggy Fabre, 49, of 4058½ Francis St., Berwick, was arrested Tuesday at 5:27 p.m. and charged with theft of goods. Fabre was released on a summons to appear in court.
Leslie Matthews, 41, of 178 Friendship Alley, Amelia, was arrested Tuesday at 4:23 p.m. and charged on a warrant for public intimidation. No bail was set.
Walter Wilbur, 54, of 2370 Chatsworth Road, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:26 p.m. and charged for disturbing the peace. Bail was set at $500.
Melvin Thibodeaux, 48, of Siracusaville, was arrested Wednesday at 1:28 a.m. and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving on the right side of the road and three Morgan City Court warrants for failure to appear on the charges of resisting a police officer, driving under suspension and contempt of court. No bail was set.
Desmond Richard, 34, of 314 Mike Drive, Patterson, was arrested Wednesday at 3:25 a.m. and charged on a warrant for criminal damage to property, criminal trespass and disturbing the peace. Bail was set at $1,250.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Kerry Sons Jr., 24, of 384 Oregon St., Berwick, was arrested Tuesday at 2:54 p.m. and charged on a warrant for distribution of marijuana. Sons turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville.
Christopher Howard, 33, of 1272 Lockett Road, No. 1, Four Corners, was arrested Tuesday at 6:52 p.m. and charged on a warrant for distribution of cocaine. Bail was set at $100,000.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Michael Payton, 26, of Branch Street, Baldwin, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department, was arrested Tuesday at 2:20 p.m. and charged on a warrant for 16th JDC for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Payton was issued a summons and remains incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department.
Keith Clark, 43, of La. 182, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 3:38 p.m. on the charges of switched license plate, no insurance, driving under suspension and possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana), first offense. Clark was processed and released on a $3,500 bond.
Michael Young, 21, of Gay Drive, Franklin, was arrested and charged with possession of a legend drug without a prescription (Promethazine), possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia (second offense), brake lights required and suspended driver’s license. Young was processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
