Rescued!

Monday local Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Agent Justin Rabalais, USDA-Farm Service Agency employee Juanita Clements and her father Ronnie Rodriguez and Patra Ghergich, Natural Resource Conservation Service helped to rescue a white pelican with its wing caught in a net on Lake Fausse Point. Rabalais will transport the bird to Baton Rouge to ensure no permanent injuries were sustained and then will be released. It was Clements who spotted the pelican in danger.
