Ribbon cutting

A ribbon cutting was held Saturday for Chic & Shabby Collections of Franklin. Owners Betty and Jody Veeder were joined by friends, family, vendors, local officials and Chamber of Commerce members for the occasion. The business, located at 716 Main St., is a flea market-style shop with 13 different vendors set up inside. The shop rents booth spaces to vendors and also accepts items on consignment. Hours of operation are Tue. through Fri. from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 337-578-1828.
