Voting for a good read

Students at Julia B. Maitland Elementary School recently voted for their choice for the Louisiana Young Reader’s Choice Award Book. The voting is the culmination of a year-long promotion in the school library of the Awards List of 15 books chosen by the State Library. Students were able to vote on voting machines compliments of the Secretary of State’s Office.
