Weekend mobile home fire

Fire Protection District 11 personnel responded to a mobile home fire on La. 318 in Four Corners last Saturday. Upon arrival fire fighters found the structure showing heavy fire and smoke. They immediately launched an attack against the main fire and took measures to protect nearby structures. The scene was under control in about an hour. Cause of the fire is undetermined and under investigation. In addition to Dist. 11 personnel, Baldwin, Chitimacha, Jeanerette and Grand Marais fire personnel responded to the blaze.
