Work planned on Lake Palourde Bypass Road

Beginning Thursday, southbound Lake Palourde Bypass Road (Duhon Boulevard) in Amelia will be closed south of U.S. 90 for railroad repairs from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Southbound traffic will be diverted to the northbound side of Lake Palourde Bypass Road. Northbound traffic will be reduced to the right lane only. 

Beginning Friday, northbound Lake Palourde Bypass Road (Duhon Boulevard) in Amelia will be closed at Barrow Street for railroad repairs from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. The detour will consist of La. 182, La. 662 and U.S. 90.
