Santa Claus paid an early visit to Center of Hope participants recently during their annual Christmas party. Lunch for the party was provided by the Arc of St. Mary Board.

Workers moved a boiler that will be used at the Louisiana Energy and Power Authority’s new power plant on Youngs Road this morning. The boiler is one of four the plant will use.
Disney’s “Frozen” will be shown at 5 p.m. Saturday in Lawrence Park.
