Louisiana High School Athletic Association basketball power rankings

The Morgan City Tigers’ and Lady Tigers’ soccer teams both slipped in the latest unofficial Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division II power rankings released Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers slipped two spots in the latest rankings to No. 11, while the Lady Tigers also fell two spots to No. 21. Loyola Prep and Beau Chene continue to lead the girls’ and boys’ Division II fields as the top-ranked teams. Above, is Morgan City’s Michael Mejai, right, in action Tuesday against E.D. White.
