Madison Jones of Morgan City placed first in AllAround competition in Level 2 at the 2017 Atlanta Crown Gymnastics meet in Duluth, Georgia, this past weekend. Madison Simmons, 10, of Berwick won the Level 2, Division N championship at the Louisiana Gymnastics State Championship Sunday at the Alario Center in Westwego. Simmons captured gold with an all-around score of 38.2. Individual, she captured first in the vault (9.7), beam (9.825) and floor (9.55). She finished eighth in the bars at 9.125.
