A 27-year-old Morgan City man was arrested Wednesday for domestic abuse by strangulation and kidnapping, Morgan City Police Chief James Blair said in a news release.
Family and friends gathered this morning to celebrate the life of Paul Vella Sr. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City.
Vella passed away Wednesday morning.
