A Morgan City couple, whose marriage began a few months after the end of World War II, will celebrate a milestone Wednesday that few ever reach.
A 26-year-old Franklin man was arrested after officers learned he hit a woman several times in front of a juvenile, Morgan City Police Chief James Blair said in a news release.
The H&B Young Foundation will again provide money to Morgan City in 2016 to help fund city projects, including a $150,000 donation to go toward redoing the city’s riverfront wharf.
