Lady Wolfpack topple Lady Hornets

Amber Joe fired in a game-high 31 points, leading the West St. Mary Lady Wolfpack to a 49-35 victory over the Franklin Lady Hornets Friday at the FSHS Gym.
West St. Mary opened with a 9-0 lead before building a 20-13 halftime cushion. The Lady Wolfpack secured a 33-20 advantage at the end of the third quarter on the way to the 49-35 victory.
Joe led all scorers with 31 points on 13 field goals and 5 of 12 free throws.
Other top scorers for the Lady Wolfpack were: Myria Druilhet, 6; Jakyrin Connor, 4; Tajah Lofton, 4; Sequoyia Ferguson, 2 and Rhaya Marks, 2.
Leading scorers for the Lady Hornets were Quanta Jones, 15; Jazman Henry, 7; Traviashiala Boatman, 7, and Chardonnae Parker, 6.
The West St. Mary Lady Wolfpack will play host to the Berwick Lady Panthers on Tuesday.
Franklin’s Lady Hornets will host Centerville on Tuesday in their next outing.
