Prep hoops power rankings

The Louisiana High School Athletic Association released its latest prep hoops power rankings Monday afternoon.
Central Catholic’s Lady Eagles (18-2) remained ranked No. 1 in Class 1A, while the Central Catholic Eagles (10-8) are ranked No. 12 in Class 1A to lead the area boys’ squads.
Meanwhile, in Class 3A, the Patterson Lumberjacks (10-4) are ranked No. 13, while in Class 4A girls’ rankings, Morgan City (12-6) is No. 25.
Also, the Patterson Lumberjills (8-13) are ranked No. 44 in Class 3A, while the Berwick Lady Panthers (2-17) are 63rd.
In Class 3A boys, Berwick (7-12) is No. 53, while Morgan City (1-15) is No. 54 in Class 4A.
Warren Easton is Class 4A’s top-ranked squad girls’ squad, while Ville Platte’s girls are ranked No. 1 in Class 3A.
On the boys’ side, St. Thomas More is No. 1 in Class 4A, Richwood, No. 1 in Class 3A and Arcadia, No. 1 in Class 1A.
