Bayou Boeuf locks closed for repairs

The Bayou Boeuf locks will be closed from Morgan City to Port Allen until further notice for gate repairs, according to Morgan City Marine Safety Unit U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Jon Scott, vessel traffic service director.
Mariners are urged to seek alternate routes, Scott said.
