Bayou Boeuf locks reopen

The Bayou Boeuf locks were closed for about two hours Monday for repairs, but Lockmaster LaDon Champine said the locks are open with no further closures anticipated.
The U.S. Coast Guard’s Morgan City Marine Safety Unit previously reported the locks would be closed until further notice.
No further closures are anticipated, Champine said.
