Lane closure on U.S. 90 near Youngsville planned

U.S. 90 will be reduced to one lane in the westbound direction for median shoulder work at La. 92 Young Street located between La. 92 Smede Highway and Southwood Drive near Youngsville, a state Department of Transportation and Development news release stated.
The work will occur from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
This portion of the project should be completed by June 14 - weather permitting. All lanes will be opened at night and on Sundays.
Permit loads are restricted to 16 feet in width. Emergency vehicles have access through the area. No detour is necessary for the median work.
