Franklin hosts tourney, volunteers are needed

Franklin Youth Baseball is hosting the Dixie Youth Regional Tournament this year.
The tourney will be July 18-22 and will bring in 16 teams from across Louisiana, including Franklin’s All-Star Teams in ages 10 to 12.
Volunteers are needed to make the event a success, said president Paul Frost. Concession workers, field crews and keeping books are some of the tasks needed to be covered by volunteers.
