Friends Camp

Brittany’s Special Friends Camp was held earlier this month at Franklin Senior High School. Activities included magician Mitch Richard who entertained the campers Monday; Tuesday the Franklin Fire Department arrived and the campers enjoyed spraying the hose and then took rides on the fire truck; Wednesday Sandy the Goat Lady appeared with zoo animals, and a young ladies dance team from Crossing Place Fellowship performed some interpretive dance. On Thursday Acadian Ambulance allowed campers to sit inside the ambulance and staff answered some questions. Also Thursday the kids were in awe as Collin Deslatte shared his acrobatic tumbling, and Friday there was an indoor carnival that included Sousa Entertainment and Sonic offering games and prizes. Camp also consisted of campers preparing their own snacks, dancing, games and craft time.
