National Night Out in Franklin

National Night Out was observed Tuesday at Pecot Park in Franklin. The annual event is “designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners” among other goals. Public officials and other representatives gave welcome addresses and comments, and there was plenty of activities for the kids and adults alike, ranging from fun to educational.
