CAA requests supply, assistance

At St. Mary Community Action Agency Inc., which maintains and operates 18 facilities including 13 Head Start Centers, two Central Office locations (one in St. Mary and one in Vermilion Parish), is requesting assistance with student supplies.
St. Mary Community Action Agency is a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt organization that has been serving people in this area since 1967.
The Head Start Program services are free and open to all children who are between the ages of 3 to 5, and meet guideline requirements.
Standard colors for Head Start children are navy blue pants, shorts, dresses or skirts and white (polo style) or T-shirts with short or long sleeves.
Supplies needed include construction paper, box of 16 color Crayons, Fiskar scissors, glue, tissue, liquid hand soap, washable markers, doodle pad and paper towels.
The donations will be helpful in assisting the agency with non-federal shares of in-kind funds.
