Police Report 9-26-14
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
A juvenile female, 15, of Jeanerette, and Naishalyn Brown, 17, of 239 Coulee St., Lot A, Baldwin, were arrested Thursday after 7 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. Brown was released on a summons and the juvenile to guardians pending juvenile court.
Jeremy L. Housely, 32, of 6432 La. 87, Charenton, was arrested Thursday at 12:59 p.m. on a charge of failure to appear for a probation review hearing. He was released on $3,500 bond.
Courtland Fullwood, 26, of 1413 First St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 2:30 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of direct contempt, no driver’s license and failure to honor written promise to appear. No bond was set.
Wanda D. Carson, 44, of 310 Cedar St., Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 2:57 p.m. on warrants charging her with two counts of failure to appear for revocation on a charge of issuing worthless checks, failure to appear for trial on counts of theft of goods and issuing worthless checks, and four warrants charging her with eight counts of issuing worthless checks. No bond was set.
Louise Alfred, 31, of 211 Jones Road, No. 1, Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 4:58 p.m. on violation of the parish leash law and vicious animals ordinance. She was released on on a summons.
Douglas Frey, 29, of Jacksonville, Florida, was arrested today at 12:58 p.m. on charges of reckless operation, failure to signal lane change, improper lane use and driving under suspension. No bond was set
Narcotics Division agents arrested Joaquima Colbert, 27, of 621 Labau St., Baldwin, Thursday at 6:07 p.m. on charges of failure to signal a turn, driving left of center, resisting by flight and a Lafayette Parish failure to appear warrent on charges of no seat belt and no driver’s license on person. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Anthony Bourda, 24 of Seventh Street, Franklin, Thursday at 3:35 p.m. on a charge of parole violation, He was held with no bond set.
Stella Ross, 17, of Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 9:07 p.m. on charges of underage possession of tobacco, disturbing the peace by loud and obscene language and resisting an officer. No bond was set.
Brennan Navy, 24, of Pecan Drive, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 10:20 p.m. on a charge of illegal carrying of a weapon. He was released on $1,000 bond.
