August 30, 1939 — November 7, 2014
Carol M. Comeaux Young, 75, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at AMG Hospital in Houma.
Carol was lovingly known as the “Flower Lady” to her friends and neighbors. She kept an exquisite garden that was admired by all who laid eyes on it. She retired from the St. Mary Parish School Board where she lovingly prepared the children’s meals on a daily basis as she did for her own family. She loved the Lord and demonstrated it every day of her life. Carol spent many hours watching and cheering the New Orleans Saints on whether they won or lost. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Carol will be lovingly remember by her two sons, Mark Young and wife, Ellen, of Morgan City, and John Young and wife, Linda, of Morgan City; one daughter, Debra Pillaro and husband, Jake III, of Morgan City; one brother, Perry Comeaux and wife, Rhonda, of Labadieville; one sister-in-law, Velma Comeaux, of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Jake Pillaro IV and wife, Kelly, Kayleigh Young and Matthew Young; and one great-grandchild, Emily Pillaro.
