Nelwyn Welsh Bogen

Nelwyn Welsh Bogen, 76, a native of Morgan City and resident of Gibson, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Gibson. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Bogen Sr.; sons, Joe Bogen Jr., of New Orleans, the Rev. Donald Bogen, of Thibodaux, and Gregory Carter, of Morgan City; daughters, Veronica Nash, of Gibson, and Pamela Morrison, of Morgan City; a sister, Joan Carol Rochelle, of Morgan City; nine grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
