Levee board to meet tonight

The St. Mary Levee District commission will meet at 6 p.m. today at Berwick Town Hall.
New business on the agenda includes discussion and any action on amending the bylaws for meeting locations, discussion and any action to authorize the commission president to sign a contract to construct a gas line, discussion and any action to amend the contract between T. Baker Smith, St. Mary Levee District and St. Mary Parish Drainage District No. 2 regarding the Morgan City Levee Project, discussion and any action on additional services for permitting efforts on the Bayou Chene project, and discussion and any action regarding the Engagement Letter from Darnell, Sikes, Gardes & Frederick for audit purposes.
