Judge, Marshal oaths

James Supple, above right, was sworn in by 16th Judicial District Court Judge Vincent Borne as the 3rd Ward City Court Judge Friday with his wife Jan Supple holding the Bible. The Franklin native has practiced law here since the early 1970s. He was elected to the judicial seat unopposed. Below, 3rd Ward City Court Marshal David McCoy, second from right, took the oath from Borne to begin his third term along with staff members, Capt. Celeste LeBlanc and Chief Deputy Teddy Deslatte. McCoy’s wife Rose is by his side.
